Plum Creek Farms
Plum Creek Farms is a small, family owned and operated business located just outside the small community of Burchard, Nebraska. It began as a weekly farm fresh egg delivery, but over the years we have grown into a leading local provider of farm fresh chicken. Our chickens are raised and processed on site at our farm, so you know exactly where your food is coming from. We take pride in the fact that our chickens are free range and farm fresh. Our chickens have access to the outside year round, with the exception of the coldest winter months. During those times they are raised in large buildings where they are free to roam around. Our chickens are not fed antibiotics, so you can be sure that you are getting the highest quality chicken possible.

Nebraska Mushroom is a locally owned and operated small business. Specializing in providing our customers the freshest gourmet mushrooms available. We grow all of our mushrooms using sustainable farm processes and acquire our supplies locally when possible. Bringing the infinite benefits of mushrooms to people and planet alike is what makes our world go ’round.
Victory Hill Farms
Victory Hill Farm is a small family-owned and operated Grade A Goat Dairy Farm and cheesemaking operation in western Nebraska. Our mission is to grow, produce and sell locally the finest earth-friendly farm products, specializing in farmstead artisan goat cheese. These fresh and aged cheeses are handmade in small quantities using only milk from the herd of goats located on this farm.
Morgan Ranch
All our cattle are raised in a safe, clean, humane, and all natural environment. We wouldn’t have it any other way. We give no sub-therapeutic antibiotics, and administer no hormones for either growth enhancement or any other reason. Finally, our cattle are never fed any animal bi-products. As importantly as what we don’t do, however, is what we do.
We recognize that high quality meat is not a race to the finish line, and we are not selling a commodity product. Instead, we produce value, and value takes time, attention, patience, and care. All Morgan Ranch cattle are fed a balanced ration according to a nutritionist’s guidelines for age, weight, size, breeding, and gestation. Typical feed rations include a variety of grasses, alfalfa, corn, distiller’s grains, as well as natural vitamin and mineral supplements.

Oakridge Farms
Barb and Gerald David of Ord, Ne, have just launched their hydroponic Butterhead Lettuce farm! They are excited to sell their produce to Nebraska schools. Butterhead–or Bibb–Lettuce was first cultivated in Kentucky, is a great source of vitamin A, and has a creamy flavor and crisp, crunchy texture. The David’s hydroponic system continuously recycles water and has a minimal footprint, meaning it is an environmentally responsible choice as well.
